„Xbox Series X“ konsolė turės dvigubai galingesnę grafiką lyginant su pirmtaku

„Microsoft“ atskleidė šiek tiek būsimos „Xbox Series X“ žaidimų konsolės specifikacijų. Patvirtinta, kad konsolė turės išskirtinio dizaino „Zen 2“ architektūros procesorių ir RDNA 2 architektūros grafikos procesorių su 12 Teraflops skaičiuojamąja galia. Tokia grafikos galia yra dvigubai didesnė nei turi „Xbox One X“ ir net keturis kartus didesnė nei gali pasiūlyti „Xbox One“. Suprantama Teraflops galia ne visada tiesiogiai persiduoda į žaidimus, bet bendras vaizdas vis tiek aiškus.

„Xbox Series X“ taip pat palaikys „Variable Rate Shading“ (VRS) technologiją. Tai leis grafikos procesoriaus galią naudoti reikalingiausiems aplinkos objektams atvaizduoti, o taip pat bus nuspręsta kaip jie bus atvaizduoti. Tai turėtų leisti pasiūlyti tolygesnius kadrus, o vaizdo kokybė irgi neturėtų nukentėti. Šią technologiją jau dabar siūlo „nVidia“ „Turing“ ir „Intel“ Gen11 grafika.

„Xbox Series X“ RDNA grafika taip pat palaikys Ray Tracing spartinimą aparatiniu lygiu naudojant DirectX API. Tai tuo pačiu patvirtina, kad būsimos RDNA 2 architektūros vaizdo plokštės irgi palaikys Ray Tracing spartinimą aparatiniu lygiu.

Nauja konsolė taip pat turės HDMI 2.1 vaizdo išvestį, to kol kas nesiūlo nei viena vaizdo plokštė.
